Hey ladies, yes I was supposed to be getting the last minute Christmas things, but look what hopped into my basket, such bargains I couldn't leave behind.  I apologise now for the photos, but I don't have a lot of time and wanted to get these offers in front of you before they all go!

Firstly a great scrapbook album set with papers and embellishments, by the lovely Papermania.  Can you believe these sets are half price in Hobby craft!  I would show you a photo of the one I bought my mum but I cleverly wrapped it already!!  Anyway I 'stole' a photo from the Do Crafts web-site so you can see which ones I mean.  I got the 8 x 8 set but they also had a 12 x 12 version, two different designs in each size, can you guess how much?  £7.33!!  I went in the Range this afternoon and they still have them at full price.

Next still in Hobbycraft, some great clear stamp sets, again half price.  There were quite a few designs to chose from, but I ended up with these two.  An amazing price, £2.93!  The complete pack size measures 4" x 7.5" so that should give you an idea of the size of the stamps.  They're on an end aisle if you're interested.

Lastly this great folder.  OK I know it's not that great right now, but so many possibilities.  You know out there in the scrapping world you can buy blank scrapbooks, made from chipboard stuff with a ring binder inner, well these are the next best thing.  Just the same really, your 8.5 x 11 inserts will fit fine.  When I tell you where they come from you'll know these are nothing like the price of the 'real' things - are you ready?  Good ole' Wilkinsons and how much (I bought 2 they were so good) 59p!  Yes really 59p!  So pick yourself up off the floor and get down there are fast as you can.  I'm already thinking 2 is not enough!!!

That's all I have for now, enjoy the holidays and take lots of pictures.  I already have on my resolutions list to do more scrapping, learn more about my wonderful Wishblade, and organise my photos (Stacy Julian's Photo Freedom book is coming from Santa).  Love Katherine x

Katherine's Corner

Hi there - I was going to put a quick post up with a few bargains I'd found over the last few days, then I couldn't find the "blinking receipt" so how much were these things - no idea.  I was cursing my 2 year old - it's usually him right, but then I found the receipt in a pile of paperwork, so sorry baby it was me after all!  Enough waffle, here you go.  First up 'The Range' my favourite place to wander and pick up stuff that I really don't need, but hey.  Found these on offer - a pound off - now £2.99 a pack.  I had real trouble deciding which packs to go for - in fact I might have to find an excuse to go back and get some more.  Obviously these are for use with a Crop A Dile Big Bite which I am very lucky to own!

Next up some fab felt snowflakes from Paperchase.  There were a few things in there for Christmas that caught my eye, but I couldn't resist these - £2.50 for 36!  You get 12 of each colour, green, red and white - so cute! (Each snowflake is about 3cm across.)

Tesco's today for the food shopping, but to cheer me up, a little wander around the non-foodie stuff.  Got this little lot.  Each pack was £1.25.  The ribbon you get 4 metres and the bobbly trim 2 metres (my favourite I think.)  The best bit is that the bobbly trim and the gingham ribbon could be for anything not just Christmas.

Lastly the reindeer tissue paper - it has a real scandinavian look to it.  Five sheets for £1 - sold!

Happy bargain hunting!

Mini IQ Party...

On Thursday night I was invited over to my neighbours house for a Mini IQ Party. Now when I got this invitation a couple of weeks a go by text I suddenly panicked that I was going to be tested...sweaty palms and hot flushes began!

When I found out that it was all about childrens education - childrens books and toys I felt a sudden relief...it was very amusing!

I loved this party! I managed to purchase several Christmas pressies for my nephew and a friends little baby girl...woohoo! I'm not joking though...I think all us adults had more fun reading these books and playing games then the children ever will! A chance to feel like a big kid again.

HERE IS A LINK TO FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION click here. I would recommend that you hold one of these parties for a couple of hours.

PLEASE NOTE - I have fallen in love with this book! It is so cute and very funny to read.
